What ITISYOU is
An independent collection of digital tools and experiences, built and maintained by one person in Chester, England. Not a company, not a launch — work published while it is still in progress.
The short version
ITISYOU is ten small products that each solve a problem I actually hit, plus this website, which exists to explain them honestly and to say which parts are finished. There is no team, no funding round and no company behind it. It is built and maintained by Leela Aravind Karlapudi, in Chester, England.
The ten products are separate websites rather than features of this one. This site is the index and the record: what each product does, what it does not do, what it costs, and when each claim was last checked against the live product.
Two things do run here rather than elsewhere. The checks — a claim checker and a trust page checklist — are the two tests this site applies to itself before publishing anything, made usable by anyone. Neither needs an account, and both work entirely inside your browser.
What you can use today
Seven of the ten are live and usable right now, without an account: Space (a quiet page for breathing and resting), ITISYOU Tools (sixteen UK-focused calculators plus PDF and image utilities that run inside your browser), Kits (developer formatters, converters and generators), Clean (tidies a messy PDF, CSV or Excel file without uploading it anywhere), Search.ITISYOU (web search in which every result says where it came from), the QA Workbench (test-design tools that keep your work in your browser) and Plan (financial planning in which every figure shows its working).
Three are working but not finished — ATSYou, DEV.ITISYOU and ITISYOU News — and every page that mentions them says so. Thraksha Guardian is an Android proof of concept that was built, tested and then frozen; there is nothing to install, only a written account of how it works.
The status page is the single place where all of that is stated plainly, and it is the page to trust if any other page contradicts it.
Why it exists
Most of these tools began because the existing option wanted an account, an upload or a subscription for something that could be done in a browser tab in four seconds. Where a job can be done on your own device, these products do it there. Where something is genuinely unfinished, the site labels it rather than describing a plan in the present tense.
The six principles the whole network is meant to hold to are listed on the home page, and each one is written so you can check it against a product rather than take it on trust.
How it is paid for
Nothing on this website is sold, and no payment is taken here. Most products are free. This website carries Google AdSense; advertising is planned for some of the products to cover running costs, but no advertising runs on any of the ten products and no advertising code is installed on them — see the advertising page. The one paid feature that is planned anywhere in the network is a tailored CV in ATSYou, which has not opened to customers; the payments and refunds page explains exactly what that means today.
How AI is involved
AI materially assisted the research, design and drafting of these products and of this site, and the page on how AI is used says where and how. It does not get the final say on whether something is true. Every factual claim here is checked against a source before it is published, and the source is usually shown next to the claim.
