Kits
A catalogue of developer utilities — formatters, converters, encoders, generators and testers — that run in the browser, with no sign-up.
Live — publicly reachable at its own address, with the catalogue and its tools working in the browser. Still growing: tools continue to be added and refined.

What makes it different
Most tools process input entirely on your own machine, and the catalogue says which is which. The few tools that need the network say where a request goes before anything is sent, rather than after.
Who it is for
- Developers who reach for a quick formatter or converter and would rather not paste work material into an unknown server
- Anyone who wants a set of small utilities in one place instead of a bookmark folder of single-purpose sites
What it does today
Each of these is tied to the evidence at the foot of this page, checked on the date shown above.
Runs its tools in the browser
Formatters, converters, encoders, generators and testers execute on your own machine. For most tools, the input you paste is processed where you pasted it.
Labels the boundary per tool
Each tool is registered as browser-local or network-using, and the catalogue shows that label, so what happens to your input is stated rather than assumed.
Works without an account
There is nothing to sign up for and no profile to create. Favourites and recent tools are kept in your own browser storage, not on a server.
What it does not do
The unfinished parts, stated here rather than discovered later.
- A small number of tools genuinely need the network to do their job — a DNS lookup cannot happen on your device alone — and those tools say so rather than pretending otherwise.
- The catalogue is still growing, and individual tools vary in depth; some cover their format's edge cases more thoroughly than others.
- There is no way to save work to an account, deliberately — closing the tab discards tool input.
- No independent review of the catalogue has been carried out; the privacy behaviour described here rests on the project's own build records and checks.
How it is paid for
Free — limited advertising planned, not active
Free to use, with limited advertising intended to cover hosting eventually. No advertising is running today and the reserved slot component deliberately renders nothing.
Similar category, different approach
Both do their jobs well. Kits differs in being a plain catalogue of small single-purpose web tools that state, per tool, whether input stays in the browser — rather than a desktop install or a single combined workbench.
All third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. They are shown solely for category comparison. ITISYOU is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by these companies.

Sources for this page
Returns HTTP 200 over a valid certificate with security headers in place. The homepage describes fast, privacy-first developer utilities that format, convert, encode, test and generate locally in the browser, with no sign-up and nothing uploaded.

- Kits repository and registry — inspected directlyprivate source — described, not linked
The Kits build was inspected at its release commit. Tools are declared in a typed registry with per-tool engines, most of which process input entirely in the browser; the few that need the network say so before anything is sent. An advertising slot component exists and deliberately renders nothing.
